Set one monthly budget. Expeniqo shows what you've spent, how much is left and when you've gone over — right on your Home screen, updated as your expenses come in.

The first thing you see in Expeniqo is this month's spending against your budget. No digging through menus.

Budget warning

The bar changes colour as you get close.

Gold while you're on track. Amber once you've used more than 85% of your budget. Red, with the amount you're over, when you pass it.

Setting a budget

One number. Set it once.

Pick a month and enter an amount. If you don't set a new one next month, your most recent budget carries forward — so there's nothing to redo.

  1. 1Go to Profile → Monthly budget (or tap Set a monthly budget on Home)
  2. 2Choose the month
  3. 3Enter the amount and tap Save budget

Spending by category

See where the budget went.

On the same Home screen, this month's spending is broken down by category — so when the bar turns amber, you can see why.

What counts

Every source, one budget.

Your budget includes the expenses you add, the receipts you save and the SMS payments that are added or confirmed. Payments waiting in Needs Review don't count until you confirm them.

Kept deliberately simple

Expeniqo's budget is one amount per month. It doesn't currently offer:

  • Separate budgets for each category
  • Push notifications or alerts
  • Spending forecasts

How does budgeting work?
