Delete your account and data.
You can delete your Expeniqo account and the data linked to it at any time — in the app, or by email if you can't use the app. Expeniqo is built by Edgezen Labs.
Delete your account in the app
-
Open Profile
Sign in to Expeniqo and tap the profile icon at the top of the Home screen.
-
Go to Danger zone
Scroll to the bottom of Profile and tap Delete account.
-
Read the summary
Expeniqo shows what will be removed before anything happens.

Delete account?
This permanently removes your Expeniqo account and associated data. This action cannot be undone.
That includes your profile (name, email, phone), all expenses — including SMS-detected and scanned ones — budgets and category preferences. You'll be signed out on all devices. SMS messages on your phone are not affected.
What's deleted
Removed from Expeniqo
- Your profile — name, email address, phone number and password hash
- All your expenses, including SMS-detected and scanned ones
- Your monthly budgets
- Your category preferences for merchants
- Any pending one-time verification codes
- If you signed in with Google: your sign-in record in Expeniqo's Google Firebase Authentication (Google email address, name and account identifier)
- On your phone: your sign-in, SMS tracking settings and any payments waiting for review
Not affected
- SMS messages on your phone — Expeniqo never changes or deletes them
- Receipt photos in your phone's gallery — Expeniqo doesn't store receipt images, so there are none to delete on our side
What may remain afterwards
Deleting your account removes everything above from Expeniqo's database straight away. These records aren't removed by that step:
- Server logs
- Kept for 30 days, then deleted automatically. They can include your account ID, but passwords, codes, tokens, message text and amounts are never logged, and email addresses and phone numbers are masked.
- Rate-limit records
- A one-way hash of the IP address you connected from, used to block abuse. Deleted after about 2 days.
- Database backups
- Backups taken before maintenance may still contain your data until they're deleted. How long backups are kept: To be confirmed
- Older Google sign-in records
- Your Google sign-in record is deleted together with your account. Only if you last signed in with Google before 7 October 2026 and never since, an older sign-in record may remain with Google Firebase Authentication. To have it removed, email us from that address.
